UCAS Clearing 2024

Getting the right information is vital during Clearing.
At Newcastle University we are here to support you every step of the way.

UCAS Clearing: same destination; different journey

Each year, universities have places left on their courses after the application deadline closes in June.

Through Clearing, a service provided by UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) you can apply to one of those places.

You can use Clearing to apply to Newcastle University if:

  • you're applying after 30 June
  • you haven't received any university offers, or none you want to accept
  • you don't meet the conditions of your offer
  • you decline your firm place using the ‘decline my place’ function
  • you paid the application fee of £27.50 when you submitted your UCAS application

Clearing opens on Wednesday 5 July 2024, however to get prepared for it we've handpicked some useful resources to help you get ready.
