Payment Methods
Direct Debit
Most of our students choose Direct Debit as their method of payment for their accommodation fees. To set up a Direct Debit, you need to have a UK bank or building society. If you are an overseas student and do not have this, you can set up a UK bank or building society account when you arrive in the UK.
What is a Direct Debit
A Direct Debit is a simple, safe, and convenient banking service. It allows you to instruct your bank or building society to automatically pay your accommodation fees on the due date.
Once your Direct Debit is set up, you will get an email with the payment schedule and amounts due - this is known as an Advance Payment Notice. We will then collect your accommodation fees on the collection dates outlined in the notice. Any changes to the payment schedule will be communicated to you at least five working days in advance of the collection date.
How to set up a Direct Debit
To set up a Direct Debit to pay your accommodation fees:
- you must have a UK bank account
- complete a Direct Debit instruction in one of two easy ways; online, or with a Direct Debit Instruction Form (to be returned to Accommodation Services) the return address is as follows:
