Staff Profiles

Dr Hosseinijebeli is a health economist who joined Health Economics Group of Newcastle University in September 2022 as a Research Associate. During her professional career, she has collaborated with number of different international organizations including World Health Organization, RAND Europe, United Nation Development Program and United Nation University. As a health economics, she has specifically been involved in different national and global multidisciplinary research projects concerning health and social care. Her PhD thesis was an economic evaluation of a mental health service model in Iran. She has also worked on older persons' care and social protection and investigated these areas in terms of financing, costing and service delivery.

She is currently working on economic evaluation of various projects within the Health Economics Group . Her own research interest are economic evaluation methods once applied in mental/brain health interventions to estimate population level health gains. Evaluating aging care from both health and social perspective and financing of long term care are also among her research interests.
