Can you help final year students take the next steps in their career?
The School of English Literature, Language and Linguistics (SELLL) is hosting two events on Thursday 8 May 2025 for undergraduate final year students and we are calling on the help of our SELLL alumni community.
Speed networking
Join us for an interactive session of speed networking and provide students with a chance to develop their networking skills in preparation for entering the world of work.

This is an amazing opportunity to share your career experience with students as well as make new connections with your fellow alumni!
As a thank you and to welcome you back to the School, we would also like to invite you to share drinks and snacks from 7 - 8 pm in the Percy Foyer.
Inspirational alumni event (optional)
Before the speed networking, we will be hosting our annual panel event where 3 of our inspirational alumni will share their stories about their journey since studying at Newcastle University in a Q&A with our Head of School.
