NCL in Action 2024/25: Uniting our global community to explore AI’s impact on our world
We're excited to announce NCL in Action 2024/25, a year-long series of events and volunteering opportunities designed to unite our community to explore the opportunities and challenges posed by modern technology and AI.
8 October 2024
This year, our programme will focus on the ways in which AI and future technologies could potentially change our lives and the way that we work while considering the answer to the questions on everyone’s mind: Will AI take our jobs? Can AI save the planet? How is AI advancing medical research?
Throughout the year we will be exploring AI’s impact on the workplace, health, education, sustainability and creative industries.
Gain industry insights
Our 60-minute industry insight sessions provide those working in industries most affected by AI with the opportunity to share thoughts and experiences whilst gaining fresh ideas and perspectives. The programme aims to match those in the same industry to discuss how AI and technology are shaping the career landscape, share insights into how your business is adopting AI, explore essential emerging skills, and examine new career paths and evolving networking opportunities.
Expand your knowledge
- Learn more about the latest AI research taking place right here at the university, along with practical advice from alumni and industry experts on using AI in everyday life.
