Offer holder experience days

Help us recruit the next generation of students!

What are Offer Holder Experience Days?

Once students have applied to Newcastle University they are given another chance to visit us at an Offer Holder Experience day, where they visit the academic school o which they have applied. These events give future students the chance to:

  • see the teaching facilities
  • meet members of staff
  • talk to current students who may be studying on the course
  • have a look around the campus and city
  • visit University accommodation

What volunteering activity can I undertake?

Volunteering to support Offer Holder Experience days can be undertaken in 2 ways:

  1. Generalised offer holder support: alumni will participate in the open sessions for any and all prospective students to attend, as opposed to faculty-specific.
  2. Faculty/school-specific offer holder support: Faculties and schools offer specific talks around certain courses and would welcome alumni speaking about their career paths and experiences after studying that course. These talks could either be to prospective students, parents or a mixture of both.

How do I get involved?
