Impact Through Architecture
CAUKIN Studio is a social enterprise that creates opportunities for impact through architecture. We use our project’s as a vehicle to educate and upskill local communities and international participants in design and construction.
We believe that every human being should have the opportunity and tools to shape the spaces that they inhabit and that we should all benefit from the quality of life that is achieved through informed design. That’s why we’ve spent the last 7 years designing, building and educating on more than 50 community projects around the world.
Our projects span across 12 countries, in 5 different continents and consist of healthcare, education and community buildings.
Biography
As co-founder of both the award winning international architecture and construction studio, CAUKIN Studio and of changespace International, a global network of spaces designed for remote working - community impact and life changing space-making have been my professional life.
It is through the founding, operation and ongoing progression of these businesses, that we have completed over 60 projects worldwide. Within this I have discovered and refined my passion for leadership, design, project management, people management, social equality and construction administration.
As a Part II qualified architect, my education in design and practical thinking has enabled me to apply these skills when organising and running CAUKIN’s design and build projects on the ground. Moreover, within ethical business strategy, I have helped lead the company’s approach to impact, education and innovative thinking.
