Field trip to London with Architecture and Urban Planning Stage 2 students
The trip involved talks from St Clements Community Land Trust and a visit to the Childrens Centre in Somers Town

A group of AUP2 and Urban Planning students taking the "Participation Module" visited London for the day on a recent field trip.
The students heard from St Clements Community Land Trust, including architect Charles Campion of JTP and local resident Günther on how the CLTs across London are developing genuine and permanent affordable housing for the local communities.
They took part in a #WeDesign workshop led by Sophia de Sousa, Louise Denison and Jake Stephenson-Bartley from The Glass House Community Led Design in preparation for the Newcastle event which will be held locally on Tuesday 19th March at 6pm in the Armstrong Building.
The day ended with a visit to the award-winning Somers Town Children Centre in Camden, designed by Adam Khan.
