New Master of Arts in Landscape Architecture Programme (MA)

2025 Applications open for our new Master of Arts (MA) in Landscape Architecture.

17 March 2025

2025 Applications open for our new Master of Arts (MA) in Landscape Architecture.

Our Master of Arts in Landscape Architecture (MA) is a one-year course for graduates in landscape architecture and related fields. The programme is for graduates looking to expand their skills and knowledge in landscape architecture in an innovative and experimental studio environment.

MA students will develop systematic knowledge and understanding of landscape architecture and its interface with planning and architecture.

We focus our studio learning on a series of principles that envisage landscape architecture as a facilitator of planetary health and well-being, as well as social and eco-justice.

These principles reinforce each another and integrate with art and ecology - two fields interconnected with the practice of Landscape Architecture.

Our studios are innovative, playful, and experimental, and cover topics such as multispecies design and interagency. Studio learning prepares the next generation of landscape architects and is complemented by theory and field work geared towards designing sustainable landscapes.

The programme is fully accredited with the Landscape Institute, providing a pathway to chartership upon graduation.
