Introduction

I am responsible for promoting and raising the profile of Newcastle University, and in particular SAgE, through the regional, national and international media. As part of my role I provide media training and advice for SAgE staff, write press releases to promote the work of the Faculty, and also have a responsibility for defending the reputation of the university and its staff against negative press. I sit on the Faculty's communication strategy group.
