Leica DMi8

Modalities: invert, widefield, live cell

Overview

A fully automated widefield system for fluorescence and brightfield imaging.

The DMi8 is a fully automated widefield system for fluorescence and brightfield imaging. It is equipped with a full range of objectives, monochrome and colour cameras and filter sets to enable fluorescence imaging of up to four distinct channels from UV to far red excitation.

Stage and z are also motorised, allowing multichannel z stacks in multiple positions or tile scans, plus in combination with an Okolab on-stage incubator, live cell imaging is also possible.

Imaging Modes

  • 2D (xy) or 3D (xyz), multichannel with timelapse and/or tiling and/or multiple locations
