Leica M205
Modalities: upright, stereo, fluorescence
Overview
The M205 is a fluorescence capable stereo microscope with automated zoom and filter wheel. It can be equipped with 0.5, 1 or 2x objectives, allowing a zoom range from ~ 3x to 360x with focus stacking options post acquisition.
It is equipped with several illumination options:
- base light for transmission
- ringlight (on 1x objective)
- fixed angle spotlights
- Metal Halide lamp for fluorescence with a choice of filters for GFP, YFP or RFP
Image capture is via a colour camera using Las-X software.
