Nikon FN1 (FLAME)

Overview

Nikon FN1 developed especially for electrophysiological research, features enhanced operability to facilitate experiments.

The Nikon FN1 in the FLAME facility has been designed to allow maximum flexibility for different kind of imaging experiments coupled (or not) with the two other main components of the system: the BioCam Duplex MEA system and the Polygon 1000 patterned illuminator. Depending on the experimental design these components can be added, removed, or modified by the facility staff.

The system is run through Nikon’s versatile Elements-JOBS software package and incorporates wizards to allow the automated capture and analysis of both fluorescence and colour images.
