VisiTech iSIM

Modalities: invert, confocal, live cell

Overview

The VisiTech iSIM confocal is an array-scanning confocal microscope based around a fully motorized, inverted Nikon TiE body.

This microscope provide live cell incubation with a high speed super resolution imaging system capable of capturing super resolution images in real time up to 1000 frames per second.

The system has two Hamamatsu Orca Flash 4 sCMOS monochrome cameras for simultaneous two colour fluorescence imaging.

The system is run through Nikon’s versatile Elements software package and incorporates wizards to perform common imaging tasks.

Imaging modes

  • Multi point x,y (2D) with tiling,
  • Volume x,y,z (3D),
  • Time lapse x,y,z,t (4D)
