Overview

The Zeiss AxioVert 2 offers two modes of observation, Brightfield transmitted light (phase & DIC) and Widefield fluorescence.

The Zeiss AxioVert 2 system utilises a monochrome imaging camera.

A range of fluorescent filters are available which cover the commonly used dyes:

  • DAPI
  • FITC
  • TRITC and CY5

The illumination source is a HBO100 mercury arc lamp.

The microscope has a heated stage insert for live samples.
