My role
I work as a senior technician in the teaching team for the School of Biomedical, Nutritional and Sport Sciences
My areas of expertise include plant science, light microscopy, protein and agarose gel electrophoresis, DNA extraction and PCR, Western blotting, aseptic technique and plant, bacteria and human cell culture.
I am the BioSafety Officer for the School, advising and assisting staff to ensure safe working practices for all experiments involving biological material.
