Partners Scheme
The School of Biomedical, Nutritional and Sport Sciences takes part in the Partners programme supported entry route.
Get involved
The Partners Programme is a hybrid residential summer school (part in person, and part on-line). It provides a supportive boost to eligible participants on their Higher Education journey. We're looking for students that show the potential to succeed at Newcastle.
On passing the scheme, you will receive a conditional offer that is lower than a typical offer.
What we offer
The 5-day programme takes the form of a typical university teaching experience. You'll take part in practical sessions, lectures, and tutorials.
When you arrive, we provide you with a research case-study. During the week, you'll work towards a solution. You'll have the support of academic staff, the School's technical team, and postgraduate students.
You will have certain tasks to engage with (practical and academic) over the week and you will need to submit these as directed to demonstrate your engagement with the programme.
