Background

Prior to joining the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Unit, I worked in the School of Modern Languages at Newcastle University as school secretary. Prior to this I held roles at Newcastle College in both the Exams and Humanities & Science Departments.

Since 2003 I have provided administrative support to the KTP Unit, providing a service to both internal and external stakeholders.

My role includes

• Provide financial support for KTP projects including submission of grant claims, prepare financial statements for project meetings, budget monitoring, arrange purchases and approve project expenses
• Prepare costings for new projects and arrange project set ups
• Attend project meetings and providing secretariat support
• Assist with final reporting of KTP/AKT projects
