What inspired you to start your own business?

I love the North East of England and wanted to share this region with visitors and locals alike.

The ability to enjoy the successes that you achieve and the flexibly it provides!

What is the biggest challenge you have faced running your own business and how did you overcome it?

Overcoming mistakes you make from inexperience and seeking advice from those who know more so you do not repeat them!

What is your 5 year vision for the business?

To expand Iles Tours range of tours.

What is the one piece of advice you would give to anyone wanting to start their own business?

Persist, it's a rocky start and can be very wearing and tiring. Find a support network and take time out with friends and family when you can.

Were there any key moments during your time at NUBS which ignited your entrepreneurial spirit? 

My most inspiring memory was the people on my course, the way we would talk about ideas between lectures, and the entrepreneurial spirit and dreams we discussed.
