Bridges Internships

Partner with students to solve real-world challenges and foster growth. Local businesses can give students hands-on experience for future opportunities.

About Bridges Internships

Our Bridges internship programme supports small local independent organisations. It enables them to engage with our students and work with them on a business challenge.

The Bridges programme will fund a small number of projects, allowing our students to undertake valuable work for local organisations.

The projects identified by the organisations must be related to:

  • inclusive economic growth
  • social value
  • sustainability goals
  • other objectives related to social and economic value which will benefit the organisation

Benefits for all

Both businesses and students benefit from an internship.

Businesses receive support to help address their real-world challenges. They can foster growth, gain valuable insights, and get fresh perspectives.

In turn, students get valuable real world experience in the workplace. This enables them to put academic learning into practice. It exposes them to potential employers and job opportunities.
