Background
I am Lecturer in Economics at Newcastle Business School. My area of research is macroeconomics with a focus on economic growth and development, monetary policy and small open economies. Before joining Newcastle University I was a Research Economist at the Central Bank of Paraguay. I obtained my PhD in Economics from the University of Barcelona in 2018 and an MSc in Economics from the Barcelona School of Economics in 2012.
