I am a lecturer in Economics at Newcastle University Business School since January 2022. I am an applied microeconomist and my research focuses on the economics of crime and the economics of migration.
Prior to joining Newcastle University I obtained a Ph.D. from University College Dublin. During my Ph.D. I visited the CLEAN Unit for the Economic Analysis of Crime at Bocconi University. I hold a MSc in Economics at the University of the Basque Country, a master’s in Economics and Management of the Public Sector from the Free University of Bolzano, and a Bachelor in Philosophy from the State University of Milan.
