Profile
Jinghui Li
Postgraduate Research Student
I am currently pursuing a PhD, having entered Year 4 of my PhD in September 2024.
My research primarily focuses on finance, corporate governance, and leadership, with a strong emphasis on data analysis and maintaining accuracy in academic research. Throughout my PhD journey, I have honed my skills in these areas, participating in academic conferences and developing effective communication skills.
I hold a Master’s degree in Financial Management from Loughborough University, where I explored subjects like Global Strategic Management, Corporate Finance, International Financial Management, and Corporate Governance. Prior to that, I completed my undergraduate studies in International Economics and Trade at Inner Mongolia University of Finance and Economics, which provided me with a solid foundation in finance, international economics, and business communication.
My professional experience includes an internship at Shanghai Lixin Accounting Firm, where I gained practical experience in data analysis and finance. I also served as the director of a university marketing club, leading the organization of school-level events.
As I progress through my PhD, I aim to leverage my skills in finance, governance, and leadership to contribute to academia while exploring potential career opportunities in the UK or Europe. I am particularly interested in roles that bridge the gap between finance, strategy, and data-driven decision-making.
Project title: Effect of CEO Culture Heritage on Firm's Financial Performance
Research interests: My research interests focus on how CEO heritage influence corporate financial performance, with a particular emphasis on leadership traits and decision-making processes.
