Our community has expertise across many research and scholarship themes including:
- critical approaches to work and organisation
- gender and organisation and inclusion/exclusion in organisations
- organisational culture, change and identity
- markets, technologies and valuation practices
- the organisation of crises, disasters and scandals
- history, time and temporality in organisation studies
- leadership theory and practice
- qualitative research methods, with a special interest in ethnographic methods, discursive approaches, sensitive research, researcher emotion, participatory methodologies and the philosophy and ethics of research methods
- management education and reflective practice
Funding and grants
A current research project is funded by the Wellcome Institutional Fund for Research Culture. The project aims to improve, recognise and reward leadership practices that build psychologically safe and inclusive research environments.
