Our Facilities
We have purpose-built clinical pharmacology laboratories. Work there adheres to Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) regulations.
Our chromatography laboratory is well-equipped. It allows the quantification of a range of anticancer drugs. Equipment includes:
- High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
- Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LC/MS)
- Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (AAS) systems
We have developed and validated assays for over 100 drugs and metabolites. We have done this for well-established chemotherapeutics and for drugs in early-phase development.
We use a range of platforms for Pharmacodynamic assays including:
- ELISAs for measurement of proteins
- Flow Cytometry and IHC for identification and characterisation of cells
- molecular genetic techniques including: PCR, NGS and probe array approaches for the analysis of nucleic acids
