Whatever your career ambitions, you can access impartial careers information, advice and guidance through the Careers Service. We aim to ensure that our service is accessible to all degree disciplines and stages.

Representing all career options
We understand that our students and graduates are interested in a wide range of careers and have a broad range of goals, values and interests. A rewarding and successful career can take different forms and meaning depending on the individual.
We aim to support all career options equally and without bias to help you make informed decisions. We hope to encourage exploration and freedom of choice.
Professional ethics
The Careers Service is a member of the AGCAS (Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services). We adhere to the AGCAS Member Code of Ethics, including the principle of impartiality.
This means embedding the principle of impartiality into the design and delivery of our services so that students and graduates have the freedom to develop their own career paths.
Employer engagement
At the Careers Service we aim to build relationships with key local, national and graduate recruiters to support a wide range of opportunities for our students and graduates.
Our employer network work with us to provide access to events, work experience and graduate opportunities across all sectors.
It is our policy to remain impartial, enabling access to a broad range of employers that represent all career options, enabling students and graduates to make their own choices.
