Roles and Responsibilities 

I have worked within the Careers Service as an Work Experience Assistant since May 2024.

The role includes liaising with graduate recruiters to advise on their recruitment needs and advertising these opportunities to students.

Career History

I joined Newcastle University in 2022 as an Education Assistant in the School of Natural and Environmental Sciences, with responsibility for the Biology and Marine Sciences cluster.

Prior to this, I taught ESL in Hamamatsu, Japan for several years.

My previous career for over a decade was in travel and tourism where I worked at Hays Travel Head Office as part of their tour operations team.
