Background
Jessica joined the Careers Service as a Development Officer in the Curriculum Team in January 2009, after completing a PhD in Renaissance drama in September 2008. She had previously worked part-time as a CV Adviser in the Careers Service, and as a Teaching Assistant in the School of English.
Roles and Responsibilities
After a number of years teaching and acting as module leader for aspects of the Careers Service's credit-bearing provision, Jessica became Faculty Engagement Manager for HaSS in June 2024 where she works closely with colleagues in the Faculty and in schools, as well as a team within Careers, to further embed employability and career learning in curricula to support positive graduate outcomes.
