Why were you interested in doing an internship, and why did you choose your specific internship role?
I was motivated to apply for this marketing intern role for several reasons. Firstly, marketing
is a field that excites me and allows me to channel my creativity and strategic thinking. I am
passionate about understanding consumer behavior, identifying market trends, and
developing innovative strategies to communicate with target audiences effectively. This role
provided an excellent opportunity for me to explore further and refine my marketing skills.
Furthermore, I was looking forward to taking on the challenges and responsibilities
associated with this role, as it provided a platform for me to grow both personally and
professionally.
Additionally, I am drawn to the collaborative nature of marketing and the opportunity to
work within a team. I value the exchange of ideas, feedback, and collective efforts that lead
to successful marketing campaigns. Being part of a dynamic team in this role helped me
improve my skills and contribute to the overall success of the company's marketing
initiatives.

What have you got out of your experience?
My work career has developed through the wide variety of skills, insights, and personal growth I have acquired. My position at the company has also given me real experience in project management, teamwork, and brand management. My interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills have improved as a result of interacting with a varied group of team members. Meanwhile, managing various roles in brand operations has sharpened my organisational and strategic thinking capabilities.
I've learned from this experience how important it is to be flexible and resilient while adjusting to new situations and responsibilities. I've discovered how to quickly adapt to shifting circumstances and view obstacles as chances for personal development.
Given the overall effects of my internship and the help I have received from Newcastle University, I am more equipped for a graduate career. With my broad skill set and experience in real-world organizational dynamics, I am well-positioned to make a positive contribution in a professional role.
