I'm looking at the effect of daylight on the hoarding behaviour of both Marsh and Coal tits. I’m really interested to look at how environmental factors, such as amount of daylight and temperature, affect the physiology of birds.
I’m going to achieve that by looking at certain gene expression levels that are specified in a certain part of the brain. I will consider how they drive hoarding behaviour in birds and compare them to mammals.
