To celebrate CESI coming to an end, we hosted a Research Showcase Week in May 2022.

Week-long series of online and in-person events to celebrate the past 6 years research excellence and key outputs. We hosted 8 online events and 2 in person events the throughout the week of 9th May 2022.

Welcome to the first session to kick start the CESI Research Showcase Week! In this session, chaired by Professor Gordon Mackerron, we hear from CESI research that relates to Commercial, Regulatory and Policy Aspects as well as some of the projects that were funded through the CESI Flex Fund. In the last session dedicated to work packages, Phil Taylor chairs this session on Multiscale Architectures, Planning and Operation. We hear from 7 key researchers and their outputs from this WP across a local, regional and national scale including some Flex Fund research/case studies. Recorded on 11/05/22.
This session was hostest by Claire Copeland and dedicated to the research undertaken by CESI in the last 12 months, including from our last Flex Fund project and from two new researchers who joined the team in 2021. Recorded on 11/05/22.
