Werin networking event on Fuel Poverty Alleviation in partnership with the Government Committee on Fuel Poverty
Date/Time: Monday 24th February 2020 11am until 1pm (optional additional round table event until 3pm)
Venue: Priory Street Centre, York
In partnership with the Government Committee on Fuel Poverty, we are asking the question:-
‘Will NetZero by 2050 result in complete fuel poverty alleviation in the UK?’
The event will be held at the Priory Street Centre in York on Monday 24th February 2020. The agenda will start at 11 am with a panel and audience discussion on the question. This will be followed by a networking lunch from 12 noon until 1 pm. You are then welcome to join us for an optional further roundtable discussion on the topic until 3 pm.
The event will provide an opportunity for those involved in the energy industry, research, and government communities to meet to promote collaboration on energy issues. The event is sponsored by the Women’s Whole Energy Systems Research and Industry Network.
