Our 2018 Research Conference enabled all CESI academics and researchers to meet and discuss their CESI research. The agenda for the day comprised sessions hosted by each CESI work package, providing a showcase of current CESI research, scenario modelling results and the chance to hear about future plans. Early Career Researchers and PhD students had the opportunity to present their own work in presentation or poster form.

Programme

The conference opening plenary was delivered by CESI Associate Director, Dr Sara Walker.  The day featured presentation sessions hosted by each CESI Work Package, with talks on a wide range of energy systems integration topics.

During the lunch session, there was a research poster display. In addition, delegates had the opportunity to take a tour of the Energy Storage Test Bed at the Urban Sciences Building.
