FPRN#4 explored the relationship between society and technology in relation to fuel poverty, featuring a range of academic and practitioner presentations.
Sponsored by the Fuel Poverty Research Network, National Energy Action, Newcastle University and the EPSRC National Centre for Energy Systems Integration (CESI), the event was hosted by CESI at the newly-opened Urban Sciences Building at Newcastle Helix.
This 2-day event explored the relationship between society and technology in relation to fuel poverty. The programme featured a range of academic and practitioner presentations, including reflections on the Health and Innovation Programme, reports from the EPSRC National Centre for Energy Systems and Integration, and a set of perspectives from policy, practice and industry. Delegates also benefited from the opportunity to reflect on wider issues and the future direction of the FPRN network.
