CRE is seeking a researcher to work on “Brexit: How might UK Agriculture Thrive or Survive?” This project will assess the impacts of UK agricultural policy scenarios following Brexit by integrating state of the art economic modelling approaches at both sector and farm levels. It will provide the UK Government, its devolved administrations and other stakeholders (e.g. levy boards, farmers and farmers’ organisations) with a cohesive and robust analytic capacity to support future policy decision making. The project brings together some of the best UK researchers and modelling expertise in the field of agricultural and trade policy analysis and it is led by Newcastle University. The post is available fixed term from 01.06.2017 to 31.10.2018. Informal enquiries may be made to Dr Carmen Hubbard at carmen.hubbard@ncl.ac.uk or Michael Wallace at Michael.Wallace@newcastle.ac.uk.
