The Regional Food Strategy was jointly agreed by Defra, Food from Britain (FFB), the Regional Development Agencies (RDAs) and the Countryside Agency in January 2003. This review evaluated whether there was valid economic rationale for public sector support in the promotion of the quality regional food sector, what had been the impacts of the Strategy so far and how efficient had the Regional Food Strategy been in delivering its objectives?
