Spatial Analytics + Modelling Seminar Series

In 2020 we launched a new seminar series. It is an international showcase of the best scholarship involving geography, data and spatial analytics.

The series unites scholars interested in geographic data and spatial analysis. It covers a wide range of topics, from segregation and social networks to machine learning and movement. The series is a platform for cutting-edge methods and thinking in spatial social science.

The seminars feature speakers from a wide variety of academic backgrounds, locations and career stages. Seminars are held most weeks on Tuesday, throughout the 2020-2021 academic year.

The series is co-sponsored by by Newcastle University, the University of Bristol and the Alan Turing Institute.
