I graduated from Newcastle University Dental School in 2018 with a BDS with distinction in Clinical Dentistry.
Following this I have stayed in the North East where I first completed the General Professional Training (GPT) scheme at Newcastle Dental Hospital and a local dental practice. Subsequently I spent two further years of training working as an SHO in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Royal Victoria Infirmary and Sunderland Royal Hospital. I returned to Newcastle Dental Hospital to complete a further training year in Oral Medicine and Dental Sedation.
I am now based full time here as a Clinical Teaching Fellow, predominantly in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, as well as in Restorative Dentistry. I supervise students during their clinical attachments, deliver seminars, and support the development of teaching material. My additional roles include being part of the admission team for our BDS and BSc undergraduate programmes.
Alongside this I am currently completing a Master of Clinical Research, with focus on qualitative research.

I currently deliver clinical teaching for both the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery course and Restorative Dentistry course. I also lead seminars within OMFS and contribute towards the development of the OMFS course and associated teaching/learning materials.
