T4 Version 8 Content Management System training is provided by the Marketing Web Services team.
Training and support for website editors
We provide training and support for colleagues who wish to edit School or Unit websites hosted at www.ncl.ac.uk. Our training covers web pages built using our Digital Design system template and components.
To edit web content, you must attend training in our T4 content management system (T4 CMS). You'll gain access to the system and live web pages after you complete the training.
Your request for training must have the support of your line manager or the website owner. If you have any questions about editor training, please log a self-service request at nuservice.ncl.ac.uk.
Training for 2025
We’re excited to announce changes to our T4 V8 CMS training sessions.
We’re developing a new e-learning course to cover everything you need to know about T4.
This new approach will:
- make training more flexible and accessible
- streamline the onboarding process for new editors
- broaden the training and support we offer
What to expect:
- Live Sessions: Sessions will take place on the first Tuesday and Thursday of each month. Please note that this schedule may vary slightly. New sessions will be posted on this training page, so be sure to check back for future dates.
- E-Learning Course is set to launch in March 2025.
- In the meantime: If you can’t attend a live session, we’ll provide a recording and a starter pack. Request access via the form below.
