Staff list
The staff list or people section of the website is used to list MyImpact staff profile content.
Staff profile content created in the University MyImpact system can be displayed as a list on your website. Profile lists are found in the People section of your site.
Profiles are displayed as an A-Z list and by role and/or research theme if required. The list page includes a ‘search’ function. See our example staff list.
Profile content is updated in MyImpact system by the profile owner.
Pre-defined keywords applied to a staff profile in T4 allow you to add a profile to the A to Z list of staff and group staff by role or theme. Keywords are always lowercase and should be separated by a comma with no space.
The People section of your site will be setup by the Marketing Web Services Team.

Staff profile issues
Sometimes a MyImpact staff profile added to T4 may not appear on your listing page. This can happen if:
- the profile owner has not published any content in MyImpact
- there’s an issue with the MyImpact profile
To investigate issues with a profile follow these simple steps:
- check that the correct staff email address has been used in the T4 component
- change the webkey in the component to newcastleuniversity (if not already applied)
- ask the profile owner to:
- check that they have a MyImpact profile
- add content to the profile such as a 'job title' in the personal details section
- Save & Publish’ the profile in MyImpact. A profile not published in MyImpact won't appear in T4 staff list.
- when the above steps have been completed wait a day or so for T4 to update and for the page to republish
If the profile fails to appear in the list after following these steps, report the issue to the MyImpact team via IT Support Services.
