Idealab
Newcastle University is proud to be part of Idealab. This is a prestigious international doctorate. You could consider this programme if your research interests lie in understanding the neurocognitive mechanisms of language learning, language use and language (re)-learning, in both clinical and non-clinical populations.

Stroke Association fellowships
The Stroke Association invites yearly applications for Postgraduate and Postdoctoral Fellowship Awards in the field of stroke.
Research has the potential to limit the devastating effects of stroke and help people rebuild their lives. The Speech and Language Sciences Section at Newcastle University has a strong research group working in the field. We offer support in the application to these Fellowships to outstanding applicants who contact us early in the autumn. This allows time for establishing eligibility and putting together a strong proposal.
