Description
TRA VISIONS is an annual series of EU funded projects. They showcase European excellence. Thus, the projects increase the competitive advantage of the European Transport Industry. They organise two competitions, one for young researchers and one for senior researchers. These competitions generate innovative concepts and solutions in the field of surface transport.
The European Commission grant focuses on designing, promoting and operating the competitions. Newcastle University led the 2018 competition in all aspects related to rail.
