Background


I currently work as an Operations Administrator supporting the School of Engineering Executive Board. I provide operational support Professor Nick Wright (Deputy Head School/Turing Fellow), Jenny Conn (Deputy School Manager) and Dr Yvonne Huebner (Strategic Projects Manager).

I originally joined Newcastle University in 2019 and worked for three years at the School of Computing, with the Centre for Doctoral Training for Cloud Computing for Big Data, delivering administration, supporting colleagues and PhD Students. I also supported many different teams including The Alan Turing Institute, National Innovation Centre for Data(NICD), Secretary for the Historic Computing Committee and EDI Leadership Committee. 

I have a background in Higher Education, working for seven years at Durham University within Culture & Heritage and also Seven Stories: National Centre of Children’s Books, as a Duty Manager. Previously I have worked with the BBC and HMRC.
