Background
Dr Jummha Abdulwali received a Ph.D. in electrical and electronics engineering from Newcastle University, UK, in 2023, an M.Sc. in microelectronic and communications engineering from Northumbria University, UK, in 2015, and a B.Sc. in electrical and electronics engineering from Garyounis University (now University of Benghazi), Libya, in 1999.
He currently serves as a Lecturer in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Newcastle University, where they are responsible for delivering engaging teaching and research programs. Prior to this, they held positions at Newcastle College and the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Technology in Benghazi, where they taught a variety of subjects, including optical wireless communication and circuit theory. Jummha’s research has been widely published, with notable works in visible light communication (VLC) and C-OFDM technologies.
