Background

I have worked in Higher Education since 2003 when I commenced employment with Northumbria University in the Business School.  I worked in student support to begin with, but on moving into management I commenced working with the international partnerships of the School. My last position with the School before moving to Newcastle University was managing the support of the Undergraduate portfolio.

I joined Newcastle University and the Institute of Health & Society in February of 2011 as the Deputy Institute Manager and was promoted to Institute Manager from January 2015.


I was appointed as Operations Manager  in the School of Engineering, Faculty of Science, Agriculture and Engineering in July 2018 and promoted to School Manager in May 2019.
