Background
Dr. Muhammed Cavus received B.Eng. degree (Hons.) in mechanical engineering from Karadeniz Technical University, Turkey, in 2014 and M.Sc. degree (Hons.) in renewable energy from Newcastle University, U.K., in 2019, where he held a Ph.D. degree in 2024. His research interests include control systems on microgrid systems and renewable energy sources, control methods of smart grid systems, such as model predictive control, robust and switched model predictive control, and deep learning methods.
