Project description
I am investigating the dynamic behaviour of slender structures excited by vibrations. I will develop a novel analytical model capable of accurately representing the problem. I will then experimentally validate the model.
I will carry out experiments to examine wake flow and fluid-structure interaction phenomena. I will compare the results with the model outcomes. The findings will improve and fulfil knowledge gaps in the area.
