I really enjoyed the talks and activities with the staff and students; they were incredibly useful and fun. The current students were really friendly, which made me feel less anxious about making friends.
Virtual events
Can’t visit us in person? We also offer Virtual Open Days and Virtual Student Experience Events which you can join. During these events, you can discuss:
- our courses and research opportunities
- your subject with academics and current students
- admissions
- visa requirements
- accommodation
- adjusting to life in Newcastle
I learnt more about what is studied over the course, the opportunities available, and the links to the industry.
It was really useful to hear from both academics and students to see both sides of the university life.
