Taught Programmes Sub-Committee (TPSC)

The Taught Programmes Sub-Committee considers academic quality and standards. This includes:

  • monitoring of the implementation of University policies and processes in the faculties
  • consideration of management information in relation to areas such as degree classification, student progression etc
  • University regulations and examination conventions for taught degrees
  • the development and recommendation to UEC of policies and procedures in these areas
  • follow-up within schools and faculties to national student surveys
