University Education Committee

University Education Committee (UEC)

A committee of Senate, University Education Committee provides strategic direction for the University's learning and teaching activities, acting as a proactive and strategic body for learning, teaching and curricular matters including quality enhancement and the sharing of good practice.

UEC has the prime responsibility for developing, monitoring and evaluating the University's Education Strategy, in the context of other key University strategies.

Senate has also delegated to UEC responsibility for the quality assurance policies and procedures necessary to maintain and enhance the academic standards and teaching quality of all programmes of study.
